CSDE to present at CEC Conference

The Center for Social Development and Education (CSDE), in accordance with its mission to promote the social development of children, will be presenting multiple presentations at the Council for Exception Children’s (CEC) 2008 Conference and Expo.  CEC is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities and/or the gifted. The Conference and Expo will be held on April 2nd thru 5th at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.  The Conference is a professional development event for special educators to explore proven, effective research-based practices in special education.  The Expo is the world’s largest exhibit show designed specifically for those who work with students with exceptional learning needs.

Get Ready for Camp Shriver 2008!

Camp Shriver Boston is an inclusive day camp for kids ages 8-12 with and without intellectual disabilities held at UMass Boston.  The Camp runs four weeks and starts on July 7th and runs through August 1st.  Check back again soon for more information on applications for Campers and positions available for Coaches, Counselors, and Volunteers for the Camp.
